Welcome to Ivan's Cards!

Pokémon has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I still remember the excitement of watching the anime for the first time and collecting those original trading cards when they hit the shelves. Like many, I drifted away from the hobby as life got busier, but something amazing happened that brought me back: my kids.

My 7 year old son started collecting Pokémon cards and would excitedly share stories about his favorite Pokémon with his friends and cousins. His enthusiasm was contagious, and soon my 4 year-old daughter joined in the fun. Seeing their passion sparked something in me a love for Pokémon that had been waiting to be rekindled.

This family connection inspired me to create Ivan's Cards. I also saw firsthand how difficult it had become to find English Pokémon cards on store shelves, and how the prices of those cards kept climbing. I wanted to provide an alternative, a store where collectors could find cards at the most reasonable prices possible. To achieve this, I’m starting with a focus on Japanese Pokémon cards. They’re not only beautifully designed but also more widely available and affordable compared to English cards.

At Ivan's Cards, honesty and integrity are at the heart of everything we do. I’m committed to setting a positive example in a market that, unfortunately, has seen its share of shady dealings. My goal is to build a store you can trust, one that brings joy to collectors young and old, and sets a standard of fairness in the Pokémon community.
